Privacy policy

This policy explains how we process and protect the personal data of our customers and of visitors to this website. We follow Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on personal data processing.

1. Who is the controller

The controller of your personal data is Locksmith&Co s.r.o., company number (IČO) 23439653, registered office in Praha, Česká republika. For anything related to data protection write to zamecnikpraha24.7@gmail.com or call +420 775 057 788. We have not appointed a data protection officer, because the law does not require us to.

2. What data we process and why

We only ask for what we need to handle the job: your name, phone number, the address we are coming to, and where relevant an e-mail and the description of the situation you send us yourself.

• • Performance of the contract: sending a technician and carrying out the locksmith work, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• • Communication with the customer: answering your enquiry and agreeing the place and time, legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• • Accounting and tax: issuing receipts and keeping records, legal obligation under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, Act No. 563/1991 Coll. and Act No. 235/2004 Coll.

3. How long we keep the data

Tax documents are kept for 10 years from the end of the tax period, as VAT law requires. Other data about a job is kept for 3 years after the job is finished, which is the limitation period under the Czech Civil Code. After that we delete it.

4. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict the processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to zamecnikpraha24.7@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, www.uoou.gov.cz.

5. Who we share the data with

We do not sell personal data. We pass it only to the processors we cannot work without: our accountants, our hosting provider and the Google tools we use to run the website and measure traffic. We hand data to public authorities, for example the Police of the Czech Republic, only when the law obliges us to.
